Independent Contractor Terms

Independent contractor relationship
Cleaners accepted through this application process are considered independent contractors, not employees, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
No guaranteed work
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, booking volume, minimum hours, or any future assignment. Work opportunities depend on business demand, client needs, cleaner fit, and availability.
Job-based pay
Pay is set per job or assignment, not as a fixed salary or guaranteed hourly amount. Rates may vary depending on the home, scope of work, travel, condition, add-ons, timing, and other job-specific factors.
No exact compensation can be promised in advance for future work until a specific cleaning opportunity is available and offered.
Payment method
Approved cleaner payouts are sent by e-transfer unless another method is agreed to in writing.
Supplies, transportation, and readiness
Cleaners may be asked whether they have their own supplies, equipment, transportation, and valid driver's licence status. Assignment decisions may take those factors into account.
Professional standards
Cleaners are expected to communicate professionally, arrive on time, treat client homes respectfully, follow agreed job instructions, and handle client information privately.
Work eligibility and accuracy
By applying, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you can legally work in Canada.
Assignment acceptance
You are not required to accept every job offered, and we are not required to offer every available job to every cleaner. Work may be assigned based on fit, location, timing, performance, and reliability.
